I am a huge clothes fanatic! In my opinion, you can never have enough ;)

(Although my husband may agree otherwise)

I was so excited to be working with Conversation Pieces! Just a matter of days after speaking with them, I received my review item in the mail!

One of the first things I always notice is how the package comes! A good display is always great!

Look at their cute little display :)

All wrapped up in white paper with a pink ribbon and even a yummy sucker attached!

Just pulling this out made me even more excited!

I received The Perfect Shirt for review. 

It comes in black, charcoal, berry & mocha.

I chose the berry color to review.

I love this shirt for a few different reasons.

First of all....it feels amazing!

It is SO soft and silky feeling. When you put it on, its so flowy and comfortable!

Second, I love the color. Its a fun color and now the only berry colored item that I own.

(I'm trying to incorporate other colors in my closet besides pink! hehe)

Lastly, I love the details of this shirt! Notice the bottom of the shirt in the back comes down longer. It also has adorable cuffed sleeves and a cute little zipper pocket! 

This top is perfect with a nice little pair of skinny jeans and some flats!

As soon as I put it on, I did not want to take it off!

After browsing their website, I instantly fell in love with their products! They have some absolutely adorable stuff! All the kinds of things that I Love to wear!

What to Do Before Your Child’s Birthday Party

As a busy mom, one of the best ways to make your child feel special is to throw him or her a fun and enjoyable birthday party each year. As you probably already know, however, planning and throwing your child’s party isn’t always easy, especially on top of everything else you have to do in your everyday life. Knowing where to start when you’re preparing for your child’s birthday party is half the battle. If you plan and prepare too little, the birthday party may not be as big of a success as you would like it to be. On the other hand, if you plan and prepare too much, you might exhaust yourself. If you’re wondering what exactly you should do before your child’s birthday party this year, here are a few tips to help you out:

1. Pick a Setting and Theme

This is probably the first thing you’ll have to do when you plan your child’s party. Ask your child whether he’d like to have the party at your house or at a party venue like Chuck E. Cheese’s. And then spend some time brainstorming with your child about possible themes for the party. For instance, you might want to do a Spiderman themed party or Luau themed party. Older kids may not be interested in themed parties. So, take a pulse with your child before you decide on a theme.

2. Make an Invitation List

Get together with your child and make a list of all the kids she wants invited to the party, and then send invitations out to those kids in the mail or electronically. It’s a good idea to discuss whom your child wants to invite, so you don’t invite any kids who might cause trouble or stir up conflict at the party.

3. Order Supplies

You can either take a trip to your local party supply store or order party supplies online. If you’re going to be throwing a themed party, make sure you get some party supplies that match the theme. Making sure you have all the right party supplies a few weeks before the party will save you the stress of having to try to scramble to get them at the last minute.

4. Make a Party To-Do List

A week or so before the party, make a list of everything you have left to do in preparation for the party. For instance, you might need to prepare party food, bake a birthday cake, call up some parents and ask them to help you chaperone the party, and rent a moon bounce. Making a to-do list of things you have to do will help you make sure you don’t forget to do anything important.

5. De-Stress Before the Party

The day and night before the party, spend some time relaxing and doing things you like. Throwing a party for your child means that you’re going to have to keep multiple children happy and safe for a couple of hours, which isn’t always easy. So, it’s essential that you’re in a good, relaxed mood when the party actually happens. If you take care of everything you need to do before the party in advance, you can spend more time relaxing right before the party to keep your stress levels under control.

So, take care of the essential things before your child’s next birthday party, and be sure to take lots and lots of pictures when the party actually happens!
